Love the bite sized chicken in the general tsos and sesame chicken. This place is no nonsense, straight to the point. I don’t come here to be spoken to politely and smiled at, I come here for tasty food. Let the haters hate
I had my first meal from Saigon today. I was very impressed. I was greeted warmly, and politely by who I believe is the long time owner. My food was ready waiting for me when I got there Soon after ordering. The food looked just as good as it did in the pictures! When I got home to eat it, the taste was even better great quality and amazing flavor! My sister really enjoyed her meal as well. I will definitely be back! Prices are also great with larger portions. it is definitely worth the cash only.
Hot and spicy chicken is the best dish along with the crab Rangoon. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. Food is cooked fresh in front of you.
The prices are very fair & the portions are pretty good sized. The woman at the register is very nice and funny. Would definitely recommend for good Chinese food.

Pretty decent Chinese American food with prices that are appropriate for the area. They offer lunch specials and seem to prepare things as they are ordered. They've managed to stay open during covid, so kudos to them. I go here about twice a month and they stay pretty consistent.
I've been eating here since they were in the Richardson food court when I worked downtown in the late 90s. I didn't realize they had a new location and recently came back. The food is great. Today I ordered an item off the lunch menu which wasn't available on the steam table and they made it fresh for me. I'm not gonna lie, it was definitely better. This is great food I would recommend to anybody. The egg roll was great today. I'm not sure why everybody is having problems with the cashier, she has always been polite to me without me being overly friendly, and I've been in the store when other people are there and I've never observed anything bad from her.
Went there 25 years ago when I used to work downtown. I have been chasing the taste of their sesame chicken ever since, no one does it as good. The food always comes out piping hot, and the chicken is so crispy and flavorful. My absolute favorite for American Chinese
Stopped here for lunch at a classmate's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. The food is prepared fresh once ordered and doesn't take long to be prepared. I had Chicken w/ Garlic Sauce over fried rice and loved how crunchy the veggies were.
I have known this restaurant for more than 30yrs. It is by far the best food I have ever had. When I live in Hartford and worked in downtown I ate here for lunch every day. I ve been living in Florida for 22yrs and I still visit this restaurant every time I visit Ct. My daughter still lives in CT and always makes sure to stop at Saigon and bring me some of their delicious food whenever she comes to visit me. I miss this food and there is no place like it. It’s really one of a kind!
